If you’re a proponent of fashion or even just popular culture, then you’re probably well aware that the buzziest show to come out of Haute Couture week in Paris was Demna Gvaslia’s second couture show for the House of Balenciaga.
Always one to create chatter, the show began with a slew of faceless models, all dressed in other-worldly neoprene looks, hiding the wearer’s face. However, the buzziest surprise came during the show’s latter half when the models’ faces were revealed. Out walked House muses like Kim Kardashian, Dua Lipa, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Campbell, and more.
No Treats, Just Fashion Tricks
But the tricks didn’t stop there. Models toted a stark, structured top-handle carryall that actually doubles as a speaker. When Demna presents a collection, he demands attention, begging for the clothes to see and be seen. The pieces speak for themselves, and in this case, the bag quite literally says it all.
