Fashion’s accessibility on the Internet means trends churn fast than they ever have because we get sick of looking at things more quickly than ever before, and when it comes to handbags, that means it’s more important than ever for brands to find new shapes and structures to offer to their customers. Recently, it’s starting to look like designers are starting to settle on a bag type they hope will follow up bucket and saddle bags: vanity cases or other, similar types of soft box bags.
As with many other things, the recent resurgence of this trend can more or less be traced to Rihanna. I bought a box bag from TJ Maxx by Emma Fox just to try the trend. I love that bag. The saffiano leather is perfect for it because it keeps its structure. You don’t really see this shape out in the wild.

Isn’t that LV marketed as a toiletry travel case? I’ve seen it in person and seems like it would be a pain to use as a handbag. To each his own.
The LV case is marketed as luggage, but so was the MCM one until Rihanna picked it up and MCM later added a shoulder strap. These kinds of bags frequently blur the line, so we went ahead and included it!

Omg! Why to wear vanity (toiletries case) as a bag. I like the Chanel vanity case, some friend use it as a lunch box. So many nice pieces, but LV look just like a makeup bag for travel, I don’t think will be comfortable to carry as a bag.
