The color pink has an affinity to me. It is such a feminine shade, and the plethora of hues really gives a variety of options if you want to wear pink. I already fell head over heels in love with the Miu Miu Ostrich Tote (the kind of burning, pining, cherishing love) and now the Miu Miu Aged Leather Tote which sports pink aged leather with gold hardware has my heart also. The color on this handbag shape just lures me in. I am hooked. There is a handle or shoulder strap option and three separate compartments on the inside. My only problem now is to decide between the pink, the gray ostrich, or both . At NAP for $1,195.

I realize this handbag is merely made of fabric, but the illustration brings an entire new dimension to the plate. The Mulberry Quilted Fabric Shopper showcases an illustrated appliqué from a Julie Verhoeven design on both the front and the back. The design on the front lures me in, showing a chic female face with half her face hidden by a red scarf. I wonder who this woman is, what she is feeling, and if she loves being the center of attention on the handbag. The chain link shoulder strap and leather shoulder panels really spice the bag up and give it an elegant notch. Buy through NAP for $1195.

In a deep navy that to the naked eye appears black, the Anya Hindmarch Art Logo Tote is designed with ribbon embroidery. Perfect to fulfill your patent leather and deep hue needs, this handbag features double handles, an optional shoulder strap, and a small pocket on the front. And unlike many designer handbags that cost over $2k and are lined in simple fabric, this bag is lined in lush tan colored suede and closes with a magnetic fastening. This is not my perfect handbag, and not a handbag that I am putting on my wish list, but it is a great handbag and one that one of you may put on your wish list. Buy through NAP for $995.

Good things come to those who wait. If you are lucky, some handbags that you lust after go on sale a few months after they come out. This does not necessarily mean that it is no longer a great bag though. The Alexander McQueen Oversized Leather Tote is very low-key for McQueen, sporting three pockets on the front and a small gold skull toggle. It would not be McQueen without the skull toggle, yet the skill is not the focal point which makes this bag much more tolerable to the eye. I actually think that without the toggle it would look very simplistic, and even bordering pedestrian. Yet a practical and mild design may be what we all need in our hectic lives. While gray is sitting on the “it” color pedestal, lush purple colors are not only closely gaining, but are about to overthrow gray. Pairing your gray hues for fall and winter with a succulent shade of purple will make your outfit pop. An absolutely stunning shape that has done nothing but created buzz for itself, the Jimmy Choo Mahala Bag is ready for fall in a chic aubergine leather. The contrast suede panels are the perfect touch, to offset the leather and the gold hardware, and make the handle on each side stand out. There are two zip fastenings on the front, one of the back, and a Jimmy Choo embossed plaque on the front. Lush sand suede lines the inside. This handbag has my heart, and while the shocking blue was great for summer, this is a must have for fall and winter.
