Sometimes you look at a bag and know immediately what it reminds you of, without having to give it much thought or effort. Those are my favorite bags – it’s like they come with a blog post built-in for my convenience! And really, it’s thoughtful for designers to help me out like that. Who said that fashionistas never think of others?

I got an opportunity to take a look at some handbags the other day with a friend of mine that’s in to fashion, but doesn’t WORSHIP bags the way that a lot of the ladies here do. And I realized that sometimes, it’s good to get some perspective, because without it we might miss things.

Michael Kors ID Chain Shopper

For example, I might have missed the Michael Kors ID Chain Shopper.

You know what I love? An exotic bag of any kind for under a grand. It’s hard to come by, even in snakeskin, and particularly from a well-known designer. Well, the Michael Kors Templeton Snakeskin Clutch meets all of those requirements. It’s a beautiful cobalt clutch made of real snakeskin that any of us would be lucky to have in our closets.

Spring has sprung, PurseBloggers! It’s officially here! Well, it’s been officially here for a few days now, but I’m a blogger, you can’t expect me to be up on things like dates and calendars. That wasn’t in my contract. But I’ve crawled out from under my rock (or, more realistically, off of my couch), looked outside, and realized that the sun and warmth I’ve been bellyaching for for months is actually OUT THERE.

Michael Kors Zip Patent Clutch

Classic, sleek, and chic. Those are all words I would use to describe this handbag. The Michael Kors Zip Patent Clutch could be one addition to your collection you would get loads of use out of. I love when I find clutches that have an element of distinction, yet at the same time I also love when some designs get back to the basics.

Michael Kors Skorpios Foldover Clutch

Now, if this handbag doesn’t scream “CARRY ME” I don’t know what does. I am sure there are times where you read my posts and think “I’ve heard this before”, but here I go again. Living in South Florida does have some perks. One of them has to be the fact that we can get away with Spring/Summer handbags just about anytime of the year.

You all know how great it is to have a staple in your wardrobe. Whether it is that little black dress, your favorite pair of jeans or a sweater that hugs your curves in all the right places, there is something you just can’t live without. As many handbags as any of us have, for the most part, I think there is probably one we reach to more often than others.

Michael Kors Big Bow Clutch

Bows on bags are quite the trend right now. I have never been a huge bow girl. Actually, I was never much of a girly girl. Grade school was not filled with pink skirts and ruffles, rather tee-shirts and sports. I have transitioned over the years, and now find myself quite drawn toward all things feminine; bows, pinks, heels, lipstick.

I’ve recently found myself wondering how much more attention Michael Kors and his line have received since the inception of Project Runway. We all know what a huge following Project Runway has. Then, when you think about it, every time Heidi Klum introduces the judges, including Kors, those watching must take note. Even if you aren’t fashion forward, I would assume you would be instantly more interested in Kors and his line.

I have to say, I tend to have a love/hate relationship with patent leather. Perhaps it all stems from my childhood since I vividly remember wearing a pair of patent leather “fancy” shoes for Christmas one year. The shoes looked great with my plaid skirt, but to this day, I remember how much those shoes hurt my feet. So, maybe it wasn’t the patent leather I had an issue with, but the shoes themselves.
