I wish I wasn’t so scared of white handbags. Ok, well, I am not scared of them per say, but I am terrified about how quickly they can become dirty. Even a little more terrifying than a white handbag – a white clutch. With a white clutch, as you know, you have to carry it in your hand. This has me concerned. I am not some filthy person, but I am a little clumsy. I can see myself forgetting that I just finished reading the newspaper (yes, I still read real newspapers) reach for the white clutch and voila – filth. However, if I can get past my fear, this particular Jimmy Choo clutch would have to be mine.

I absolutely fell in love with the Jimmy Choo Zulu Butterfly Leather Clutch. At first glance the clutch might appear a bit simplistic, but upon further review you can see that there is in fact quite a bit of detail that went into it. The white leather has a bit of pleating and gorgeous studded butterfly with snake-effect insert details. There is a zip-fastening top with a zip pull and satin lining. At 12″ x 7″ this clutch does borderline on oversized and it works. I could see myself grabbing this as I run out for lunch or even a night on the town. It is so whimsical! Now, if I can just let go of my fear. Buy through Net-a-Porter for $795.

I like the bag, the design is really classy! As for keeping it clean, see if there is a spray of sorts you can put over it to keep it from getting dirty. When storing it, keep it in its garment bag. Enjoy! ;-)

    No…I don’t care 4 it. I pass.

I love this clutch and the clever way they created the butterfly. I agree with you about white bags. I would destroy it in minutes I know I would.

Let it go. I thought the same thing when I bought my vanilla Michael Kors Uptown Astor. I have two sons that play football, and we are always on the run and eating on the fly. I’m also a first grade teacher.
However, I could not pass it up. I wore it for two months (a record for me) straight without one stain. Trust me I am HARD on my handbags. I don’t have time to baby them. So, I think for a clutch that you are not wearing everyday, you should be safe. Come on. Take a risk.

It’s so pretty! I can see why you’re so tempted. I too love white bags but they really are a PITA to keep clean. However, you wouldn’t exactly be wearing this everyday right, so maaybe you might be ok!

The stud idea is cute, but I’m not a fan of the butterfly detail on the clutch. (fb)

I totally agree on the white clutches .. that is why I don’t even own a white handbag .. just the thought of it getting dirty scares me ..

As for the clutch .. the concept was good, but the outcome needed some work.

I love this bag. It’s really feminine and would be great for going out to dinner. I definitely wouldn’t use it as an everyday bag, of course. (fb)

Shannon, I cannot fault your taste after falling in love with two bags you posted about. I am not a big fan of butterfly’s, or bags with most animals on them, and I actually just posted about not liking the bird on the bag that Megs posted. But…. I would buy this bag in a heartbeat. White and all, I wouldnt think twice. Yes, I might come home every day and hit it with some leather cleaner. But it would be totally worth it. And I dont think the price is unreasonable at all either. (fb)

very good design i love thi design ………………………………………

This would be great with silver hardware. Gold hardware looks tacky on many Jimmy Choo bags, especially the purple ones.

You can get a cheap price and wear the fashion and beautiful shoes out.
