Marc Jacobs is not a man of opaque themes; he’s preternaturally talented when it comes to a lot of things, and among them is letting his spectators, fans and clients know what he’s thinking during his seasonal shows. For Spring 2015, Jacobs clearly had his mind on the military, and the show contained the dusty olives and khakis that go right along with that, down to the bags.
Since leaving Louis Vuitton, Jacobs has put a clear emphasis on revitalizing his once-dominant accessories business, and he’s released several strong bags in aid of those efforts. The familiar one that popped up in this collection was a theme and variations on the Trouble Bag, a simple flap shoulder bag with a signature disc closure. The collection also included a number of oversized silk-satin knapsacks and totes in the style of traditional military bags, and although those supported the theme, they’re unlikely to be big sellers. Check out the full collection below.

I was hoping for great things since he left LV. Last seasons handbags were ok not my style but I still liked them but these are hideous. WTF is up with those bubbles?!? The exotics are slightly better but still rather bland IMO. Maybe he should reconsider bring back the quilted line cause I don’t see these selling at all.
Agreed… hideous!
I am definitely digging that extra large green and grey hobos, in crocodile.
These have got to be the worst bags that I’ve ever seen come out of the house of Marc Jacobs. So unfortunate because I was really rooting for him after he left LV.
They look like back to school backpacks for young children.
The hobos are nice but nothing else leaps out at me, that being said MJ collection have gotten A LOT better since he came back-giving him some time to find his groove again.
Not impressed at all; these bags are ugly! and frankly I don’t envision them selling very well. I do like the olive croco hobo though.
Besides the one navy/mustard snakeskin trouble bag, I don’t care for any of these. (The croc hobos are nice but 40k is nuts.)
Those bags look like they have herpes.
