If you’ve been following Coach recently, you’re bound to have seen its adorable #coachpups campaign featuring Lady Gaga‘s frenchie Miss Asia Kinney, Ariana Grande‘s pup Toulouse, and Miranda Kerr‘s yorkie Frankie. The love people have for their pets is undeniable, and seeing Coach feature dogs instead of people is an adorable move for the brand.
The #coachpups campaign has done quite well and plenty of other dogs are getting in on the action–you can see all of the submissions by checking out the hashtag. Vlad and I recently adopted our very first pup, Brutus, who has already filled our hearts with so much love and joy. Brutus, of course, has his own Instagram account and got in on the #coachpups action.
Today we have a shot of Brutus in the Coach Turnlock Tote in the new Wild Beast print. The print has grown into an entire collection featuring the drip-leopard motif that was hand-painted in Coach’s New York studios by Gary Baseman. Brutus loved this bag. (No really–he buried himself into it until only his tail was sticking up, wagging.)

We adopted him from a rescue and were told he’s a mix of German Shepherd, Boxer, Golden Retriever. We are going to run a DNA test to see if we can find out more about him!

Oh man, if only I could buy the bag and the pup! What an absolute cutie he is!
Btw, anyone else love the direction Coach has been going these past some years? After the release of their Borough bag, it’s only been going uphill in my opinion. And not to mention the improved quality, especially (obviously) in their somewhat higher priced bags. In fact, I bought a Borough ($700) and a YSL Sac de jour ($2000+) in 2013 and have used both quite generously for work/school purposes. And surprisingly, both bags have faired equally well.
So yeah, I certainly find myself visiting the Coach boutique MUCH more frequently and enthusiastically now as compared to the previous decade. In fact, before the borough, my last purchase from Coach was back in 2007-08. So good for them 🙂
