Back when we first got a glimpse at Christian Dior’s Fall 2015 runway bags, many of you noticed a new flap bag in the hands of a few models. The new design is the Christian Dior Dune Bag, and now that the collection has started trickling into stores, we have the pleasure of formally introducing the Dune.
Right now, the Dune appears to come in two sizes: standard and small. All of the Dunes on the brand’s website are exotic, but the bag does come in regular leather options, although the chatter in our Dior forum is that the leather won’t be solid colors. As of now, our best intel puts the opening price point at $3,500 USD, but that number could dip as we gain information about new availability.
Until then, check out some detail shots of the Dune below, as well as the other versions that Dior has released publicly. Do you still love this bag as much as you did on the runway?
The alligator versions are exquisite. The tan/sunburst color is extraordinary. Workmanship and detailing are superb. Pricing will be in the region of $30,000+/- for these beauties.
Yawn except for the sky blue one.
I think it is nice…

The shape is very bleh.
It may be “blah” buts in terms of designs its very practical and comfortable.
Something can be super practical and comfy and still not look bleh, especially for that damn price tag.
I still prefer the Be Dior. There’s am unfinished look about the Dune that I’m not a fan of
I have to say this is the first time I’ve seen an alligator bag that’s beautiful.
They REALLY worked it beautifully – color, texture – into the design.
I like the shape but the top handle looks uncomfortable.
Also looks like the bag will sag in the middle.
great work-from-home opportunìty for you… work for 3-8 hours daily and profìt in the range of 5000-12000 dollars a
I love this bag, though I won’t wear exotics. I would like to see it in leather. My only concern is the opening looks a bit small from the pictures. I’ll have to check it out in person. But overall, it’s a really great shape.
Meh…
what a nice bag although I don´t like croco-leather
Glad to see some smoother corners finally!
What’s with the hypercolour in slide 5? did someone pour some bleach by accident? love the other bags. great shape and very practical.
Stunning! Like I said Dior is taking over!
While the simple lines are nice these are far to meh for this price point. No way I’m spending $4k+ on these bags. I pay for quality AND design. And these are just to run of the mill. Without the alligator they are really unremarkable.
It’s a gorgeous bag. Well, too bad I can’t afford exotic. I think I’d wait until they release solid color in simple calf.
