Although Bravo has done its best to put to rest rumors that The Rachel Zoe Project won’t be coming back for another season, we thought that now, the morning after Zoe’s Season Five finale, would be an appropriate time to take a look at The Many Bags of Rachel Zoe . As you all know, Zoe was a stylist long before she was a TV personality or owner of a fashion line, so she’s got one of the most well-stocked closets in the business.
If you’ve watched as much of The Rachel Zoe Project as I have, then you know what to exact going forward: a lot of black, a lot of Chanel and Hermes, and a lot of stuff that’ll make you want to go shopping immediately. Lately Rachel carries some of the handbags from her own line, of course, but she does keep it real with other designers’ bags as well. If there’s one thing I’ve learned for Zoe’s show, it’s that a girl always needs options.
I’ve always personally preferred the Kelly to the Birkin, and in this photo, Rachel proves that it can be a stylish, reasonably casual day bag.
Naturally, Rachel carries a lot of the bags from her own line. The Morrison seems to be her favorite.
Rachel also carries the mini Morrison Tote quite frequently.
And to round out the collection, a nice, bright red Morrison Tote.
The Logan Hobo in black calf hair fits well with Rachel’s ultra-textured look.
We believe this double-buckle tote to be from Rachel’s line, but it doesn’t appear to be available to anyone but the designer herself at this point.
Rachel also has the brown version. It must be nice to have your own handbag line, tailored to your own tastes.
This Luxe Rachel Zoe bag was among her first forays into handbag design, before she had her contemporary collection.
Rachel Zoe has a thing for fringe – can you identify this bag?
After her own line, Rachel loves Chanel and Hermes over all else. She has some of the sickest Chanel pieces around, including this enormous 2.55 Maxi Reissue Flap Bag.
At her most luxe-boho, this woven Chanel Flap Bag works on Rachel. And perhaps no one else.
I really wish Chanel would reissue the Modern Chain Tote that Rachel’s carrying in this photo.
Lately, Rachel’s been carrying this easy Chanel shoulder bag.
Rachel first became notorious during the late 2000s, so naturally she had a python Chloe Paraty bag. Those are the rules.
If you’re a fan of The Rachel Zoe Project, you might remember when Rachel received this Reed Krakoff bag on the show this season.
Despite her taste for all things French, Rachel does a good job supporting American designers with her bag choices, like this Proenza Schouler satchel.
Black and exotic – this Proenza Schouler PS11 was practically made for Rachel.
The olive color of this Ferragamo bag coordinates perfectly with the brick red of Rachel’s coat – that’s why she makes the big bucks.
I’ve been told that this bag, one of Zoe’s absolute favorites, is also a vintage Ferragamo. It’s hard to know without asking her directly, though. Let us know, Rach!
A lil’ bit of Gucci never hurt anybody, and this Gucci bag is certainly easy on the eyes.
Although Rachel doesn’t talk about Givenchy much, her collection indicates that she loves the brand’s bags.
And another Givenchy Antigona! This time, it’s the croc-embossed suede version.
Rachel’s love of Givenchy goes beyond the Antigona, though – check out this beautiful, understated flap shoulder bag.
We need some help with this one – Rachel’s black fringe bags reminds us of pieces we’ve seen from Prada, Christian Louboutin and Bottega Veneta, but none of them fits exactly. What is it?
On the other hand, we recognized Rachel’s The Row Day Luxe Tote immediately.
As soon as Rachel announced her pregnancy, she dubbed this Alexander McQueen tote her new baby bag.
And then, of course, there’s the Hermes. Rachel loves her Hermes bags, and it only feels right to start with a classic black Birkin.
Rachel’s not much for color, as you’ve likely realized, but she did branch out a bit with an olive Birkin.
For a woman that knows as much about evening dressing as Rachel, an Hermes Medor clutch is a no-brainer.
