We recently had a member of the PurseBlog team visit Ghurka to check out the brand’s bags, and while it’s still a brand I don’t know well, I realized we haven’t covered them since the early PurseBlog days. Ghurka is not a newcomer, but it deserves a reintroduction to PurseBlog.

A few weeks ago, we went to the Racked NY offices to photograph the team to show you The Many Bags of Racked. The team at Racked approached me afterward to include me in their Ladies Who Launch series, which features women and the businesses they start.
I have a big spot for Prada bags in my heart. One of my first premiere designer bags was a Prada Nylon Messenger Bag that I carried for college, and while I know that sounds ridiculous, it was nothing short of amazing.
Tomorrow, at 2 pm EST, we are hosting a live chat with Rebecca Minkoff on the PurseForum. We are really excited to launch our new series, #AskMeAnything, where you can log on and ask the designer anything you’d like, from fashion to life as a designer, and more.
Goyard is one of few brands that has both a long, storied history and a sense of mystery about it. Until recently, the only place to purchase Goyard in New York City was at small boutiques in Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman, but the brand has a long history with NYC.
When Louis Vuitton first released the Capucines bag, the overwhelming majority loved it, myself included. Fast forward a couple of years and the bag remains a fan favorite. Louis Vuitton is a brand that knows to stick to a good thing when they have it, and with a minor tweak of adding contrasting details, Louis Vuitton took an already beautiful bag to the next level.
When it comes to what fits, I find it more interesting to see what we can put inside popular smaller bags rather than larger ones. Perhaps most intriguing is the Fendi Micro Peekaboo, a bag that may have been intended as a supplemental bag charm but has turned into a hit stand-alone piece.
When Gucci appointed Alessandro Michele, formerly Gucci’s head of accessories, to be its new creative director, we were excited to see what was to come for the brand’s bags. Alessandro already had a vast understanding of Gucci accessories, and the fit seemed perfect.
Like many of you, I am Instagram obsessed. Once I launched the PurseBlog Instagram account a few years ago, I was hooked and it started to become a huge part of my day. While Vlad and I don’t have our own pet yet (we are planning to get a puppy sometime soonish!), I am still entirely enthralled with other people’s pets – like @pepperpaprikash above!
