I’ve said this many times before, Ferragamo bags deserve more love than they tend to receive. Don’t get me wrong, whenever I talk about Ferragamo most of you share the mutual love, but the subdued elegance of the brand sometimes leaves the bags a little under the radar.
One of my favorite posts we do on PurseBlog is our Many Bags Of series, especially when it pertains to real life people and not just our celeb roundups. Vlad and I met Jennifer Fisher, famed jewelry designer and all around cool girl, a few years ago and took a peek in her bag to share with you and recently decided to check back in and follow up with her and her team to see the bags they carry to work.
YES, you read that correctly! After 11 years of PurseBlog, eight years of marriage, multiple moves, major personal and professional milestones, countless bags purchased and even more bags discussed, Vlad and I are so happy to announce that we will be welcoming a baby girl come late November!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is probably my favorite sale of the year, aside from finding a random amazing bag deal at a sample sale or by chance. One of the biggest stressors for me, and I’m sure others, is sorting through the sale items and making sure I find not only great deals but also what I’m looking for.
Celebrities are lucky for a lot of reasons, not least of which because they often get their hands on a bag before we ever can. Personally, I’ve always liked that brands give bags out early to famous friends–it makes it easy for me to see a bag being worn and gage how it translates from stock image to real life.
The Louis Vuitton Neverfull remains one of the most beloved everyday bags in the luxury handbag world. With diverse offerings including classic Monogram, Damier and Epi leather, the bag comes in a variety of sizes and is among the bags I see most commonly carried and that people search for on our site.
When Chanel staged it’s Cruise 2017 show in Cuba, up-close shots of the collection’s bags and accessories weren’t readily available. I spent hours on Instagram and scouring other fashion sites to see what I could find and ended up with a good assortment of bags and the scene of the show.
Even though some people don’t love the idea of bag charms, I’ve always been drawn to them. To me, having a great accent for your most important accessory is a cool way to make it your own, and with all the options currently available, you don’t have to go over-the-top with an outlandishly large charm.
Right now, Neiman Marcus wants to reward you for almost every purchase you make. Qualifying purchase over $200 will net you a gift card of up to $400 no matter how you pay, but if you use your Neiman Marcus credit card, the rewards increase at each price tier, with a maximum $500 gift card. It’s a win-win, so if you’re shopping Neiman Marcus, make sure you enter JULYGC at checkout. Hurry, though–the offer only runs through July 12.
July always gives me that intense ‘it’s really summer now’ feeling. Neiman Marcus is helping us get into summer with its Summer Sale, where you can receive an extra 35% off of sale styles for him and her. The good news is you probably have a few days off over this long weekend, so grab a cup of coffee or a glass of rosé, and find exactly what your summer wardrobe needs. I know I plan to add some summer staples and with the additional 35% off of sale prices, you can’t go wrong!
