Now that it’s finally starting to feel a little bit like spring in New York City, we’re all about spring shoes over at our sister site TalkShoes. Lucky for us, Coach’s awesomely shoppable Spring Shoe Closet has debuted just in time to refresh our wardrobes! Not only that, but we spotted Tamara Eccelstone in a pair of incredible alligator Louboutin pumps, plus we’ve got a roundup of the best cutout sandals for the new season. All that and more, this week at TalkShoes!
Last night we got a double dose of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with the season three finale and the first part of the reunion airing back-to-back. Going into the evening, I suspected that they were double loading the two episodes because neither was really all that exciting and Bravo knew that people would complain if they strung it out for an extra week without delivering much.
Anyone who makes a habit of online shopping (which I’m assuming is all of you) knows that most sites that carry premiere designers have roughly similar assortments. That’s not a coincidence, of course; retail buying is a precarious balance of data and intuition, and making a miscalculation on a piece that’s too avant-garde or “specialty” for a mass audience can be quite costly.
Neiman Marcus’ contemporary store CUSP may not be as well known as her big sister, but that doesn’t mean she’s any less chock full of temptation. Now through April 2nd, shop the Spring Sale and save up to 40% on regularly priced items. There’s a tempting bag selection, but my suggestion is to head directly to the denim selection, where you can save big on spring denim trends. Happy shopping!
Well, the Loewe Poppy Sheep Amazona Bag looks cuddly, for lack of a better word.
For some reason, my first thought upon seeing this bag (which is part of Loewe’s Fall 2013 collection, on pre-order via Moda Operandi through March 28) was that if I were to ever be stranded at an airport, it would be the bag I’d want to have with me.
Back in November, we caught Mugler creative director Nicola Formichetti with an Hermes Birkin covered in his own drawings, and it seems as though he didn’t just stop there. Formichetti, who’s perhaps most widely known for being Lady Gaga’s stylist, has also translated his drawings to a limited-edition, doodle-covered handbag line for Mulger, like the Mugler Muglerette M Bag, sold exclusively at ShopBop.
