Leopard is basically a neutral at this point, and if Fendi has anything to say about it, the trend is not leaving us anytime soon. To be quite frank, we agree. While we might be a little bit biased because of our love for leopard, but there’s a reason why leopard works so well.
For starters, leopard is one of those rare prints that goes with everything. Thanks to its neutral hues, it simultaneously blends in with your current wardrobe while also acting as a bold pop. We first saw an influx of leopard back in 2024 when the mob wife aesthetic took off on TikTok.
Unlike other aesthetics or cores, as the kids call him, leopard’s moment wasn’t fleeting; the trend continued right on through the rest of the year and into 2025. While it was once considered a trend, leopard, like denim and raffia, is reaching rare territory, one that is quickly transcending trend and becoming a full-on closet staple.
Fendi Pre-Spring 2026 Doubles Down on Leopard
Case in point? Fendi Pre-Spring 2026, which just dropped for pre-order and is overflowing with new leopard bags. From the iconic Fendi Baguette and Mini Spy to fan favorites like the Peekaboo, all dressed in Fendi Leo animalier print, Fendi just solidified that leopard is here to stay.
Offering a hint of nostalgia (who remembers the original leopard Baguettes?), the bags incorporate texture, utilizing cavallino calfskin with a smooth leather lining. Equal parts classic thanks to cornerstone designs with an on-trend twist of leopard print, the Baguette is making it to the top of our wishlists.

How many times are we going to read the same recycled article of “leopard is now a neutral / classic.” Sigh
Do you have a different take on leopard we can try to tackle?! I hear you, and I know that writing about bags and accessory trends for 20 years now means we will repeat ourselves… for sure more than once!
