Sometimes a great brand can be hidden in an international market that’s out of our reach, and that is just the case with Lipault Paris. Lipault has become one of France’s leading luggage brands after being launched by French designer François Lipovetsky in 2005, and until now, its wares were hard to come by in the US. If you ever traveled to France, you may have noticed the brand, but being on the other side of the pond, I only became aware of the brand recently.
Lipault Paris promises bright fashion colors, lightweight design, durable fabrics and unique gear, all at a great price point. You may not want a black bag for your carry-on (though if you do, Lipault offers that as well), which makes Lipault a great option, with bold color choices for everyone.
Five staple colors make up the permanent collection, while seasonal prints and colors come and go. After browsing the site for a while, I instantly fell for the Spinner Carry-On Bag in dark lavendar. Online they have the 22″ in a blue/black pattern. For a carryon I like a dark solid color or a pattern. Won’t show every ding!
I own the 22″ rolling carry-on in teal and absolutely love it! It’s super high quality for the price point, it fits a ton (notwithstanding its compact size), and it still looks practically new after over two years of heavy use. I highly recommend lipault luggage!
I am a big “carry on only/no checked bags” traveler and have a couple Lipault collapsible rolling carry on bags (in boring black lol) that we use almost exclusively. They hold a ton, are super light weight and have held up really well. Big fan.
Haha well I do like a good boring black bag myself but it’s hard to look at black when such good color options are available!!
