Start Fall the Right Way With One of These Brand New Bags Under $600

16 new, accessible fall finds to make the slide toward winter a little easier

Best Bags Under $600

The idea that it’s fall right now might not be supported by the weather forecast or the calendar, but Labor Day has passed and fall clothes are in stores and we’re proceeding with the idea that it’s fall, even if that seems objectively false. Soon enough it’ll be true, though, and then you’ll wish you’d strategized your wardrobe at least a little bit before the cool weather arrives. Now’s the time to do just that, and as you might expect, we think you should start with a bag.

Not just any bag, though. As we’ve mentioned several times in the past year, indie contemporary brands have been leading the way when it comes to modern, inventive new designs, and often their pieces can be had for far, far less than their premier designer counterparts. That combination of style and value makes them a great way to start the season, especially if there’s a trend you want to experiment with—you no longer have to pay four figures to get a seriously stylish, well-made new bag. Check out well over a dozen of our favorites from the new season below.

I really like the “Future Glory Co.” bag.
I could definitely see myself carrying that as a perfect everyday.
It has just the right amount of edgy silver hardware and chain strap, also looks easy to get in and out of. Too bad I’ve been on a handbag buying binge or I would seriously buy it. Maybe I’ll put it in the back burner for now 😉
