We’ve been venturing our way around the PurseForum for a couple weeks now, and if you can believe it, we’ve only just scratched the surface of what our members have to offer. We already checked out the most popular brands on the Forum, including Chanel, Céline, Hermès and Louis Vuitton, and this week we’re continuing with Valentino.
The Valentino subforum is full of reveal and sale threads, but one of my personal favorites is the Your Valentino in Action thread. Not only do our PurseForum members share their covetable Valentino handbags in action, but you’ll also find a plethora of Rockstud flats, pumps and sandals to swoon over. Valentino’s Rockstud bags and shoes have become a brand signature and, arguably, a classic. I like these posts. However, it would be nice to see one from some of the lower priced brands.
I love these. For the past couple of years, Valentino’s Rockstud line has been one of my favorites. I’ve recently decided, however, that the look is too young and funky for where I am in my life right now. I’ve put my Rockstud tote up for sale and am a bit sad about it, though I know it’s the right decision. Aesthetically, it’s just no longer “me.” I find that my Chanel bags work much better with my wardrobe and professional image nowadays, and 2017 is the year I will finally buy an Hermes Kelly. If I were still in my 20s, though, I would still be rocking Valentino.
I plan on getting a bag but not the shoes. I prefer shoes that aren’t so ‘bling’.
I’m not crazy about Valentino bags or shoes, but some of these pictures are top notch photographs. Keep them coming PB!
Does anyone know when the matching shoes to the bag in #6 (red with matte red studs) came out? I’ve been look for them and season/year wold be helpful
I love Valentino!!! Just got my first Rockstud mini tote in black TODAY and I absolutely love it. Holds all daily essentials without a problem. Can’t wait to break it out! I’m glad to see that the Rockstud line is still in vogue – many people think it’s “tired,” and I discussed this with my SA today, but she says that they’re still selling very well. The thing is, studs will come and go as trends do – but this is a classic bag that can be worn with a chic, simple evening dress or jeans. I love it.
