Hello Purse-people! I hope you all have been well and in good health. This week I wanted to focus on bags in none other than the iconic shade of black. Nothing is more classic right? If you’ve ever wondered if your bag’s wear and tear is normal or a defect, you’re not alone. Forums like the Louis Vuitton forum even have ongoing threads on the issue. You can compare and ask questions at the “Is this Normal?” Ask about LV stitching, alignment, etc. here!” thread. Another good thread to read is the “When it comes to bags are you trend follower or trend avoider ?” thread where different members discuss their opinions on what trendiness means and whether or not it’s worth participating in. I’ve been trying to purchase the LV Rendez-vous forever and it’s sold out everywhere! Why do they put it up on their website if they don’t have it in stock anywhere??
It’s available in dozens of locations in the USA. Check the EU website to access worldwide inventory.
I did. It was only in one NM LV store in N.J. I called and they “were holding it for a customer”. If you have time & know other stores please let me know. You are always a great resource since you know how to secure hard-to-find bags. Thx! ?

Really nice bags, thanks for showing these! Going forward, it would be helpful to let us know what the upcoming roundup “themes” might be for the following few weeks. It’s frustrating to post about a new bag only for it to be ignored because the theme is a completely different colour/style. Then a few weeks later, that colour/style does get featured, but your post has become old news and is overlooked (this has NOT happened to me personally, but a couple of other TPFers have vented their disappointment in conversations).
Would love to have a way to feature more tPFers that want to be featured! Jess and I are brainstorming ideas so we can do that 🙂
Hello there, as of now we don’t really set the themes in advance unless it’s a holiday. I start by combing through the forum and seeing what there is a lot of (color wise) and what threads are active. The best way to be featured is to post frequently across multiple forums. Also a helpful tip in general is to put your bag name and color (even if its not the official color name) in the post so if we are looking to do an article on a certain bag style or color its really easy for us and fellow members to find. Also older posts can still be included in a round up, there is no expiration date for posts that can be featured, I even put in some throw backs from the forums early days if the photo is good and the bag is great. But with that being said I try to stick to what goes on that week because as you can imagine, there is a lot out there.
Is it “ignored” since they only have space to choose a few posts and not everyone’s bag can be featured? ????
