Community is needed now more than ever, so we’re more than excited to start highlighting some of the latest happenings in our forums! It’s there that our members are discussing everything from shopping to the latest bags to personal issues to current events. These roundups feature pictures by our TPFers with their very own bags. So, with that beings said, let’s wrap up this very stressful week with nothing other than BAGS!
First up, Chanel! In the “Which is your absolute favourite Chanel bag in your collection and why?” thread, member Sylly shares her amazing iridescent Caviar Classic Flap with champagne gold hardware. You can check it out here.
The Bottega Veneta Forum had a very purple reveal that user JenJBS posted over on the “My First BV Bag! Reveal!” thread. Congrats on your first BV we’re hoping you get to wear her soon.
We also have one of my favorites to watch right now, the “‘Sheltering in Place’ with Hermès” thread where user Aisham shared her beautiful Rouge de coeur Birkin and Anemone Kelly. You can find her full post here.
Another reveal over at Givenchy on the “Post pics of your Givenchy Antigona .. Everything about Antigona!” thread. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous Antigona LittleLuxe! You can find the full post here.
Over at the Louis Vuitton forum, I checked in with the “Pics of your Louis Vuitton in action” thread and loved the Montaigne BB that user Sandra.AT posted. We’re longing for the outside too baby! To see more head here.
Since I know a lot of people aren’t shopping right now I decided to check out some family photos over at the “Post Pics of Your Mulberry Family“. I totally fell in love with this cute little collection posted by member Gringach. Believe it our not there’s more to her collection and you can click here to see it in full.
And if you want to partake in some other interesting threads, here’s a handful that are really active right now. Our members love chatting about the Royals, especially all things Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Another great escape is talking about your favorite TV shows, and there’s a thread for every show and movie. Of course, many are talking about Coronavirus and there’s something helpful about having a community to talk to through this incredibly hard time.
Stay safe and healthy everyone!
Thank you so much for doing this — I really missed this column! Even though there is no bag shopping for most of us in the near future, it’s still nice to see what others have bought. One gentle note (this is NOT a big deal, so no virtue-signalling sermons, please): for the Birkin color, it’s rouge de coeur, not core.
I hope that even after the covid 19 crisis has passed, this column will continue.
I feel that, I think it is going to be a while before I personally can invest in a premiere designer bag. But I think threads that focus on bags that we already have will be more active. Or perhaps we’ll see more indie brands too! Also thank you for pointing out the color title I just updated it 🙂
Since my work has been affected by covid, I won’t be buying purses for a while either. Necessities only.
Agreed. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs…basic necessities only.
I agree! I also hope to shop more cool, affordable, indie brands if/when I am stable again. I’m currently making a list of brands I’m looking forward to supporting when the time is right to try and stay optimistic 🙂
Will you please share this list?
Yes, we are working on posts on new, emerging and smaller bag brands!
Yay! I have missed this feature so much, glad it is back–thank you thank you!
Awesome! It just seems like the right time glad you enjoyed.
For the Hermès bags, the color is not “Rouge de Core,” it’s “Rouge de Cœur.” It’s mislabelled here and on the forum.
Thank you so much for pointing that out! I just updated, it great eye 🙂
I’m SO happy y’all brought this back! Please keep doing this! Even more than once a week if you guys want!
Glad you like it! We will do it at least once a week!
I’m so happy y’all are doing this again! The Mulberry pic was my favorite last week!
We will do one every week! Glad it’s back and I know so many of you missed it 🙂
Lines by Sarojini Naidu, about the weavers of India exceptionally portrays the three stages of life and connects them with the weavers, as our weavers have been weaving the thread of magic for generations past and to come happily. Weavers of India hold an utmost
