In early 2021, Louis Vuitton collaborated with Swiss contemporary artist Urs Fischer, introducing a range of bags, accessories, and ready-to-wear that completely reimagined the classic LV Monogram. I was immediately obsessed, and any sense of reason or practicality went out the window. Every other bag on my wishlist no longer mattered. I had to have something from this collection.
I was able to track down a bag through a Sales Associate I had worked with before, and I opted for the LV x UF Pochette Accessoires in the black-and-white colorway. Featuring a new iteration of classic LV Monogram that was hand-drawn by Urs Fischer in a very free-form and spontaneous manner the bag is incredibly visually appealing.
A Limited-Edition Bag to Love
The body of the bag itself is crafted from coated canvas, while the Monogram letters and flowers are applied with a soft velvet-like material using a technique called tuffetage. Not only is the print itself unique to look at, but it is also interesting to the touch, as the Monogram print is actually raised.

IMHO, this collaboration was incredibly slept on. It received less fanfare than other limited-edition collaborations of its kind, and most of the bags remained available for sale months after the collection’s release. The LV x UF Pochette is one of my collection’s most special pieces.
So much so that in the first couple of years of owning it, I rarely used it, choosing to (uncharacteristically) baby it. Still, without fail, every time I wore it, I got compliments from some of New York’s most stylish people—those I know and those I don’t.
The thing I heard the most was, “I’ve never seen a bag like that before!” This past year, I used her more than ever, and yes, you guessed it, the compliments continued rolling in, offering a gentle reminder that we should all be using our special pieces more, ordinary day or not!
Same here, a lot of compliments and I have the red and black version. Get a lot of side eyes then the braver ones actually ask if that was a “real” LV bag😂😂😂 it is so little known. That’s also what I like that it’s actually not well known or so common that it’s on 5 out of 10 people I see on the streets! 😉
I adore this bag! I also have the black/white and receive compliments. Most don’t recognize it’s LV.
