This year, Loewe celebrates the festive air of the season with a new collection in collaboration with Kyoto-based ceramic studio Suna Fujita. Husband and wife duo Shohei Fujita and Chisato Yamano’s work is largely inspired by childhood memories, with inspiration drawing from our earliest days.
The new collection expands upon the foundation that was built last year, celebrating the holidays through an exploration of artisanal craft and showcasing the perfect melding of two worlds whose brand ethos is deeply intertwined. Known for its meticulous craft and unmatched quality, Loewe x Suna Fujita’s latest installment features whimsical details, bold colors, shiny metallics that speak to the season, and more.
A Dynamic Duo Reunites
A series of original illustrations were created just for this collection, showcasing playful creatures in an array of childlike scenes. Hopping hamsters and blossoming bunnies are emblazoned onto Loewe’s most iconic shapes, like the Puzzle, Flamenco, and Hammock Bags, while exciting new materials like deerskin, metallics, and knits outfit other bags.
Playful new campaign images bring the collection to life through handmade scenes and exciting animations that echo its spirit. While there are a myriad of exciting new bags to pick from, the collection also includes ready-to-wear that is primed for the season’s cold-weather activities, like soft coats, puffer bombers with shearling details, and more statement-makers.
Year after year, Loewe continues to master the art of gift-giving, offering something for everyone, and this collection is no different. For those who prefer a slight hint of whimsy, there is an array of SLGs to opt for, while those who love a collector’s piece will delight in the bags that won’t be around for very long.
