I love that pleated skirt. But some of the other items seem ridiculously expensive. (And I am a person who has purchased a Birkin!).

Why is this story back?
I love those collaboration and bought few items. However some pieces are already sold out. And I wanted to buy few more but my size again sold out……..
So hopefully one of my friend in UK can get them in my size.

I really like this collaboration, but it’s a shade too price-y for my liking. I’ll admire from afar.
The most egregious item is the North Face x Gucci Oversize T-Shirt for $650. If it said “Northface” it would be $50, but slap on Gucci and the price jumps to $650.00! Also, there is a similar pair of North face boots for $200, but throw on a Gucci label & it’s $1,450. This campaign feels off to me since they are taking a household label & elevating it to designer label status. What’s next? Target Gucci? Walmart Gucci? K-mart Gucci? So many exciting possibilities! ?
Not sure why this collab is so popular?… I’m Canadian, and northface has always been a very classic, yet “nothing special” kinda brand for yearrrsss. Just because we slap Gucci on the front makes it price justifiable? I don’t think so. Maybe it’s an American thing why this got so much hype.
Is it “popular”? I’m an American and don’t understand why Gucci is pushing this collaboration. ???? (Well, despite the obvious push for sales and profits). I also saw on the Canadian site they are featuring it as well. I guess time will tell if this proves to be a hit.
I have no doubt it will sell well. Buyers seem to love a giant Gucci logo or ostentatious branding.
