While Goyard is a heritage brand and household name, it is still one of the most secretive brands when it comes to sharing its offerings online. Years ago, many brands started to embrace the online and social media realm, but Goyard has opened up but only on its own accord, and that leaves fans yearning for more information.
One place to get the latest Goyard news is our very own PurseForum, and this morning, while browsing, I fell into a brand new, Goyard-obsessed rabbit hole. Quietly, with a single image on Instagram going live today and information finally hitting the site, Goyard’s latest limited edition collection is its Light Catcher series, which features the Goyard Pearly Collection.
The Goyard Pearly Collection
This launch includes four bags, two sizes of the Saint Louis (a household name and staple), the Bohème Hobo, and the tiny Nano Saïgon. Each design is beloved by the brand and serves different purposes – from daily haulers to tiny card carriers to practical hobo.

Goyard Limited Edition Pearly Colors for 2024
The Pearly finish is formed atop the Goyardine canvas with an iridescent and glittering effect. Goyard chose three colorways: pearly green, pearly coral, and pearly blue.
The finish is subtle yet feels really special, and while some Goyard bags, like the St. Louis, have become supremely popular, owning one of these would allow you to stand out. These iridescent and pearlized finishes mimic shells underwater as they reflect light, offering a change of shade with each tiny movement.

Images of These Bags from the PurseForum
I have placed myself on a bag-buying ban, but once I saw this thread on the PurseForum and was able to see some of our members’ shared bags, I started getting that handbag itch—that one that makes you feel like you can justify anything and really need it. So here I am, thinking that I need one of these bags!
I am hoping to see if my local Goyard bouquet has any of this collection available tomorrow in store. Still, you can see the thread on the PurseForum where members will be sharing more of their Goyard Pearlescent bags here!
I just got the Pearly Blue Boheme Hobo. It is absolutely GORGEOUS!
hi can i see the real pict of it? im eyeing the hobo pearly blue
The green St Louis I must have!!!!
I just got one! You will fall in love when you see it in person. The pictures don’t capture the true color 😍
Same! I love their green [insert heart eyes]!
The Boheme Hobo is becoming popular now. I’ve seen it on many people through social media. Totally in love with it but I want to wait to get it in Paris instead of the US
I like these, but I’m not familiar with Goyard. Do these bags hold up well over time?
Ive had mine a blue pm st louis tote since 2008. I bought a bag organizer for it 3yrs ago and its the best ever extra protection and of course pockets. Handles are very sturdy. No show of wear in the body part (especially in the corners) because i baby all my bags.
The famous tote or anything larger in size I don’t think they hold up well – since the material gives a plastic-y feeling, they looked creased even at the store already. But small ones are nice. No creasing issue and pretty, pretty colors. I am referring to Alpine Mini and Plumet Pocket Wallet (with its compartment-design, this is actually practical enough to be a bona fide crossbody, enough to run errands with – phone, cards, keys and cash.)
Very pretty colors but the quality is just abysmal in my experience.
The prices seem insane. And isn’t the coating just plastic?
But isn’t all coated canvas just coated in plastic?
From Goyard
Used by Goyard since 1892, it is the main material in our permanent selection of products. Its tight weave, made of linen and cotton, coated with a light, natural resin, confers ideal characteristics, making our products light, soft, sturdy, water-resistant and long-lasting.
Thanks. For me it seems like a lot to pay for a bag made of linen, cotton and resin. But to each their own of course.
“Resin” is code for petroleum product.
Love my Goyards. Would love to see the green pearly PM. The LV Neverfull and Goyard PM’s and Artois have been my go to bags for years. I do carry a lot of stuff 😀
That hobo in coral is so nice! So, these are NOT available online whatsoever, is that right?
