Look, here’s the thing: the best advice I can give you on getting a gift for your mom, or for the moms around you, is that you should just buy them the nicest thing that you can afford and that you think they will enjoy. Mom, grandma, wife, sister, whoever–to paraphrase Big Daddy Kane, momming ain’t easy. To make treating them to something special a little bit easier, though, we’ve selected a handful of gifts that might appeal to the many and diverse types of moms in your life.
But you can get ideas and find something that suits your budget better. That’s what I do. And the DB&M tote is totally worth the money.
Out of the Christmas pressie lists I’ve been seeing this one was the most doable, both style and price wise…it can get pretty crazy when people are shopping with other people’s money.
Ah, I see. That’s a good tip. I’ve never ventured into that brand before so I’m not too sure about the quality but I’ll check it out. Haha! Christmas pressie lists are usually insane! But fun:)
Yeah, insane is a good word to describe it! 😀
DB&M is very good quality for the price tag they come with. I’ve abused my Gweneth for a while now and so far there are no signs or seams or materials giving in.

A nice list you’ve put together! =) I have the DB&M Gweneth in black and it’s just a great tote bag. Can’t recommend it enough…perfect for travel, gym, shopping, it’s really comfy to carry and very chic. Now I find myself pining for the metallic one.
I found my Mum a NWT camel brown Abro tote with loads of GHW for 30 euros – it was sitting on the shelf, waiting for me at my neighbourhood flea market when I stopped by 2 weeks ago. One should never overlook the “second hand” market; you can really make great finds especially if you’re in a pinch.
Lovely ideas, but too bad I won’t be using any of them. They’re all just so…expensive..

If you don’t mind I would add these YSL ankle boots which I love http://www.ysl.com/us/shop-product/women/shoes-kitten-heel-cat-boot-50-bootie-in-black-patent-leather_cod44628622sk.html#dept=boots_shoes_women_
I would love to have that Saint Laurent jacket. I went to the boutique, and it looks even better and feels more luscious in person.
