No one’s taste in handbags happens by accident; brands go to great lengths to create aesthetic worlds in which customers can identify with their creations, and that means that a person’s bag preferences often reveal things about their overall style inclinations. Because of that, knowing a person’s taste in bags can be an enormously helpful clue when shopping for them–if the person in question is a bag lover, you can bet that it’s a way to her heart.
To make things easier on you, we took five enormously popular handbags and found a handful of gifts that fit each one’s look. If you have a friend or loved one who can’t stop carrying her Givenchy Antigona or Fendi Peekaboo, these suggestions will get you well on your way to making her very happy on Christmas morning.

What a fun post! Would love to see a regular feature on “If you love this bag, you’ll love these (accessories, shoes or some other bags with a similar aesthetic)”.
I think every person has a different perception of fair price in their mind. I have known some people that are willing to pay extra just for the piece of mind of buying from an AD. I once bought some luxury brand handbags at 50% discount from store iluxshop.es i met on the internet,

I really liked how each of these had a specific style profile. Glam, Boho, It, Cool, Street.
Thank you! I tried to pick bags that represented different aesthetics so I could cover as much ground and apply to as many people as possible–glad it worked out!

I have those coasters, and they are stunning. Get a ton of compliments on them. Also, article is pretty accurate, since I like the Drew best in this post 😉

I can’t count how many accessories stories I’ve read and “what fits inside my bag” videos I’ve seen. They include lipsticks, tissue packs, sunglasses, key holders, etc, but NOT ONE has ever included a business card holder!!! Why? Don’t we work?
First thing that goes into my bag is my Goyard business card holder.
My business cards are in my wallet! I like to limit the number of total separate things floating around in my bag if possible. (Although this post isn’t about things to go in a bag.)
A handbag is the perfect representation of one’s personality and style. In my opinion, a handbag can say a lot about a person. Whether it’s eccentric or simple, everyone has that one handbag that they will never be able to give away. It’s nice how a handbag can be used to store our favorite accessories/makeup items in, making it unique to each person.
This is me today. My Doc Marten’s are 1460’s, my M.A.C lipstick is Diva, my sunglasses TF and pendant necklace from Banana Republic. Your recommendations based on the Antigona are spot on.
Can you please do an article on chic but affordable clear bags? Being required at growing amount of venues. Thanks!
We’ll put that on our list!

We have more in the works! Glad you liked this one.
