Normally, by this time of year, there are a million things I want. Sale season is in full swing, my trigger finger is itchy in anticipation of second markdowns, everything on the shopping front is grand. This year, despite the fact that I love a lot of what’s going on in fashion right now, my Christmas Wish List (and birthday wish list, since it’s Christmas Eve) is kind of limited.
I don’t know if that’s a sign of maturity (unlikely!) or just an indicator that I’ve gotten better at deciphering my own ever-narrowing taste, but the list of things I’d like to receive this year is rather short. In fact, it’s actually shorter than what I’ve presented here, because I got impatient and already bought the Shinola watch. Self-denial has never been one of my talents.
I like the hat 🙂
the only thing I don’t get is the watch … the rest is all very much you ( or at least my idea of you). That Fendi is surprisingly versatile … and surprisingly expensive
The watch is a bit of an outlier for me, but it’s one of those things that I loved as soon as I saw it and didn’t stop thinking about until it was mine. The heart wants what the heart wants!
What surprises me most are the flats and the hat. When she first mentioned the necklace, I told her that was a visit to the ER just waiting to happen. She loves the watch; she wore watches in HS & college. And, I LOVE the Fendi bag!
Hi mom.
Happy Birthday Amanda!
