Fendi’s Latest Baguette Bag Proves Micro Bags Aren’t Going Anywhere

Itty bitty baby Baguettes are here

Just when we thought we’d seen the tiniest of mini bags, Jacquemus surprised us with an even smaller version of its ever popular and ever impractical Chiquito bag earlier this summer. Though not quite as itty bitty, Fendi is the next designer to cash in on the micro bag trend, introducing a baby version of its iconic Baguette bag. Meet the Fendi Nano Baguette.

The Nano Baguette is available in a few different iterations. From smooth and patent leathers to Fendi’s iconic double F coated canvas and even a micro version of Carrie’s famous Baguette from Sex and the City, the nano Baguette makes a bold statement. Prices range from $650 for the leather versions to $990 for the embellished version.

Brand new for the Fall/Winter 2019 season, the Nano Baguette is actually marketed as a charm, and it comes with a large clam clasp. However it also comes with a dainty gold chain, so that it can be worn as a cross body bag or a belt bag. This teeny accessory is more pretty than practical, though it will hold some loose change, a lip balm or a two, a scrunchie and a couple of credit cards. Discover more via Fendi.

Really cute but do you need another bag to hold your phone lol?

Sparky

SO CUTE!!!!
As long as my phone, keys, and cards fit I’m in. I really like tiny bags for when I’m carrying the bare necessities.

Darietta

I don’t think it will fit a smartphone of any kind…

These bags would look ridiculous on an adult but I can understand getting one if you had a young daughter.

I ordered a LV mini pochette to hang on my NF but ended up wearing it A LOT with the Eva strap for going to parties/concerts with just the bare necessities. I’m seriously considering this Fendi in the double F version – Thanks Kaitlin for a ticket off ban island! (Nano bags don’t really count do they?) My iPhone is very old and may just fit. Apple take note – we don’t need bigger phones!!! If my phone doesn’t fit in my bag it gets left at home.

These bags are just stupid! They are completely impractical and cannot hold anything. Why bother? These grown ass women look like they are carrying their 5 year old daughter’s bags. Can we talk about the price, too? Ridiculous!

Kenzie

Wait, so can it fit any smartphone?

D

If it does, I’m buying.

Kenzie

Right? I actually love it (the non-Frendi-logo’d ones)

Charlie

Omg, no! Fashion houses put out these tiny bags and then make bank from of all the “sheep” that flock to them. Keep buying into the hype and they’ll continue to make millions while they laugh at the gullibility of consumers.

Before you rush to buy it LOL (I am die hard baguette fan, have 6) here are some facts – Length:4.3 inches, Height:2.6 inches, NO phone can fit, as the post stated fits “some loose change, a lip balm or a two, a scrunchie and a couple of credit cards”…..phone in your hand as always, and tiny bits in the “bag”…it is actually called “NANO BAGUETTE CHARM” so it is not really a bag. I have a small cross-body baguette 10″ x 5″ for everything smallest I need: phone + all those little thingies I need and it is much nicer on the figure…but they look cute especially in a bunch like a bouquet
