And just like that, NYFW Spring 2026 has come and gone.
Bag spotting in New York is at its peak during the twice-yearly event known as the Super Bowl of the fashion world, and we’re here to unpack some of the best bags spotted on the streets during the last week.
A Week of Sunshine, Style, and Statement Bags
Stylish show-goers don’t usually mind the weather; instead, they dress purely for fashion and not function, but this season they were blessed with sunny skies and perfect temps. If you’ve ever experienced fashion week live and in person, you’ll understand what I mean when I say that it can feel extremely chaotic, with the city coming alive thanks to an influx of fashion folk, but it’s the best-dressed chaos I’ve ever seen.
Of course, street-style photographers are there to catch it all, and we sent one of our favorites out to capture the best—and capture it they did! The first half of the week brought show-stopping outfits that were mainly neutral, with pops of color and print.
Fan favorite east/west bags like The Alaïa Le Teckel and Khaite Simona Bag continue to reign while old favorites like the Le City and the Baguette were also go-tos. More below!
