If just the print isn’t enough, Judith Leiber lets you carry the entire animal

If you haven’t realized that leopard print is a huge and soon-to-be omnipresent trend for fall, you haven’t been paying very close attention. In fact, we discussed the impending importance of leopard bags just last month.

As with all things, though, bedazzler to the stars Judith Leiber is here to take the trend to its absurdly literal extreme. If you’re attending a very glamourous event this fall and want to be on-trend, these clutches are one of the best (and sparkliest) ways to do it. My favorite is the tiger – which would you choose? They would definitely make a statement! I think the Zebra Clutch is my favourite.

judith leiber has been boring me as of lately…she really is a one trick pony with these bedazzled intricate incredibly reasonably priced (JK) clutches. i agree they are beautiful, but really, ~6K??? and everything is so one note; cute things covered in crystals. i am in leiber fatigue, maybe we should let her go for a little while and revisit her after like, 8 months, then we can all be oooood and aaaaaaad by her brilliant little clutches.

Love Judith Leiber clutches. They are works of art. One of these days, I am going to have some displayed as artwork. I can’t imagine using them to go out. My favorite-the cupcake.

Laura

I’ve never liked her clutches, they’re certainly eye-catching but somewhat ridiculous. I wouldn’t spend my money on ANY of her designs.

ITA! never liked her clutches. not my cup of tea.

They are lovely, but I will never be able to afford one (the Zebra is my fave of these). And if I could afford one, it would be the Cupcake, that was the best.

Cate

If I had the kind of money it would take to buy that zebra clutch, I would be at the store RIGHT NOW.

louch

WOW! I’d go the Tiger.

I love the leopard out of those three, but I am somewhere in the middle of the common opinion. Yes that is a huge chunk of money to spend on a sparkly clutch, but you have to take in the artistry of the pieces. They are gorgeous. No one can deny that.. But are they worth it? Not for me.. I would rather look at them on my computer screen for free..

these things are supposed to be on dining table for just in showcase i dont think ppl can use them well they can carry them but they look kinda funny to carry around when u have other choices like Bottega LV much morefashionable

Just LOVE Judith Leiber clutches. The tiger is beautiful. A Judith Leiber creation is as classic to me as the Louis Vuitton monogram.

It is clear that the resurgence of the crystal embellished Judith Leiber bags, specifically in the animal shapes, are due to the large press coverage of the Jaguar/Leopard version featured in the recent pages of Vogue Paris realized by the great stylist Emannuelle Alt. The editorial was extremely sexy and chic, which probably led to huge commercial success, meaning SALES, which inevitably SOLD OUT on Net-A-Porter. Furthermore, I would assume that the designers at Leiber thought that the introduction of the Zebra and Tiger would also be a hit. Unfortunately, although unique, they look forced in my opinion. Nevertheless, the Leopard is a collectors piece and is worth the investment! Can be worn to a black tie affair or even with jeans and blazer for a night out on the town.
