Dior has released images from its Spring 2019 Ad campaign and I am on my tippy toes with delight. The campaign, which was shot by photographer Harley Weir, is heavily inspired by dance, featuring long fluid dresses in neutral tones of white, beige and taupe. The campaign is the perfect compliment to the designs of Maria Grazia Chiuri, who aimed to celebrate the woman’s body with this ready-to-wear collection. Chiuri was also inspired by house icons such as the Dior Saddle Bag, which is back in a big way. The Saddle Bag, which was re-imaged for Spring 2019 in a belt bag version (of course) continues to be a big push for Dior throughout 2019. This is incredibly apparent in Dior’s newest campaign, which features one bag and one bag only: The Saddle Bag. As a former dancer—I did ballet for 15 years of my life—I am loving the overall vibe of this campaign, it’s minimalistic and beautiful, allowing a wearers bag to take center stage, and who can’t get behind that? Check out more images from the campaign below.

I'm twirling in delight...
I have such a weakness for all things neutral and ballet inspired. Love how these turned out
Me too! I adore this.
yuk! Ugly actually………..
Meh.
The photos are lovely but I never feel Dior’s aesthetic. Not sure what it is. Them and LV are both incredibly not me.
What on earth is going on with Dior? Utterly ordinary and ugly.
I’m surprised people think this is ugly – I think it’s so beautiful and artistic. I do think it’s silly to pretend this is celebrating the woman’s body, when it clearly is just one kind of woman’s body. Better to just call it like it is – dancers!
Beautiful but I’m waiting for the day designers of women’s clothing acknowledge women have boobs.
Yeezy done it first, I’m reluctant to say.
This.
Gorgeous campaign! I love it.
I love it too. It’s art.
Agreed, I want to dress like a dancer for all of spring! 🙂
I like the pictures as a piece of art, but the clothes…. nope. Sorry.
why do i want to see creepy people in underpants? didnt we already see this with Kanye West?
who does Dior want to target with this advertising? Every brand owned by LVMH is doing this nonsense
Kanye is that you?
cool so we’re just wearing really expensive spanx for skinny people now?
