While I don’t have anything Chanel except for lip glosses & nail polishes, I certainly would never turn away a classic Jumbo flap.
However, these I would definitly take a pass on, even if I did have the major amount of money they will cost, but I’m sure they will sell out immediately to the Chanel ladies.
These are gorgeous. Simply works of art.
The bags are interesting to look at but I’m not so sure I’d want/wear one.
I like #4 – simple and elegant. It is identical to the vintage ca 1920s piece in black featured on p.23 of the encyclopedia on status exotics, “Exotic Skin: Alligator and Crocodile Handbags”. It seems like Karl Lagerfeld is tapping the archives, which is a good thing.

I love #2 and #4 – #2 is understated yet purposeful glam, and #4 is delicate yet full-on glam without being obnoxious. But I’m not really feeling the rest of the collection.

Chanel is always the best! But they do use fake jewel to keep the profit higher. 🙁 Hope they can improve for that!
