they are amazing. I am a big chanel fan. But how come the hardware like the cc logo and chain get rusty so easily..my 2.55 only show up in public 3 times and i can see the chain getting fading out..it is not that goldenish anymore..suggestion?

The reissues of the classics are all amazing, as one would expect. But some new material and color choices are a bit puzzling, in my opinion: #1 – fur, #3 – white boucle-trimmed fabric flap, #6 – grayish/purplish fabric clutch with a front zipper, #14 – another purplish number with aubergine and mauve details, #18 – multi-colored raffia. Hmm, I don’t know…

I love all of them except for raffia. I would have to see it in person before making a final decision. But as a rule, I am not a big fan of raffia.

I have this bag and love it. However mine has a full metal chain. Bought it at the main Paris store as a souvenir of the trip. It’s a great special bag to carry around the holidays. (Although I carry it all year long.)

Is it just me or do all Chanel bag look alike? Yes I like the classic flap (wouldn’t mind owning one), but the others are just too similar with the quilted leather, chain straps and interlocking Cs…
Yes, they do look pretty much alike these days. However, the original Coco Chanel designs, especially the early ones from the 30s, contained a great variety of ideas. Later, in the 1950s, when she introduced this classic style with a chain strap, it became very popular and since then it has been reissued many times, with virtually no new ideas added. From this collection, the bag #6 looks so awkward to me. That front zipper…
