Chanel’s Cruise 2021 Bags Just Hit Boutiques

We've got pics + prices of our favorites!

Few luxury fashion brands put on quite a spectacle of a show like the House of Chanel does. The brand is known for its themed presentations, with set designs that are as elaborate at the fashion itself, and even though the Cruise 2021 collection was presented with much less fanfare than usual due to the global pandemic, the bags were still something to be seen. We first got a look at handbags from Cruise 2021 back in June, and now we’ve got a further look at pieces from this collection which just hit the internet.

Virginie Viard used her imagination with the creation of this collection, traveling in her mind from France where she was on lockdown, to the Italian island of Capri. This inspiration is incredibly apparent in bags from this collection, particularity with the collection’s color palette, which includes stunning bright shades of ocean blue, beautiful greens and pretty pinks. Embellishments of every kind take center stage in this collection from stunning sequins and colorful tweed to terrycloth and rattan. Overall the bags in this collection are wearable and fun. Check out pics and prices of some of our favorites below, all of which are in boutiques now.

Love them! Can’t afford them – story of my life

Laurie

I like but i have liked the last two seasons better.

Very nice! Chanel always looks like Chanel, which is why the brand remains so appealing.

The hobo in picture two is beautiful. The Chanel 19 in picture seven is my favorite. I also liked number seventeen.

Number fourteen is a joke, right? It looks like carpet.

Sandy

I love the white flap with black hardware, too difficult to take care of but stunning. I am very interested in number 8, the draw string bag as well!

They look tired and old! What a joke!! I love spending $$ on a terrific bag but, someone is laughing all the way to the bank with these!

These are luxury and exactly for people who have money to burn, such as people who buy fur coats for toddlers who will grow out of them in a few months. I’m sure the uber rich who buy them don’t want to be seen carrying around a bag some lawyer or doctor is using.

considering how much you’re spending on these bags, most of them look so tacky..

I always like a wicker bag, and the Chanel wicker vanity is adorable.
But their price points… they lost me a few years ago.
