For Cruise 2026, Chanel took us on a beach chic journey to Italy’s stunning Lake Como, where glamorous evening looks gave way to the ultimate in beach attire. The collection, which was designed by Chanel’s creative studio ahead of Matthieu Blazy’s Spring 2026 debut, is an ode to the ease of summer.
Despite the House being in a transitional phase, the collection debuted a delightful mix of novelty bags as well as fresh takes on Chanel icons, both new and old.
The consistency throughout? An homage to Chanel’s classic design ethos and core DNA—reinterpreted for chic beach days and sophisticated summer nights out.

Seasonal Materials and Textures Take the Lead
Seasonal essentials, such as raffia and wicker, made their way onto fan-favorite shapes, including the Mini Kelly and the Chanel Vanity.
Elsewhere, suede ruled, popping up on Flap bags and new shapes alike, including the Chanel 25. Along with the soft lavender you all loved when we first shared it, the mini arrives this season in pink, yellow, and brown suede, too.

The Maxi Hobo is nice, but there could be color transfer with this light color.
Nothing here interests me.
I’ll wait for Matthew Blazy’s bags to drop.
