With its relaxed, slouchy appeal and effortless cool-girl vibe, the Balenciaga Rodeo bag hit the scene and immediately garnered the attention of handbag lovers everywhere. Undeniably reminiscent of the Balenciaga of the early aughts, the Rodeo, of course taking its name from the famed Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, signaled a new era for Demna Gvasalia, returning to the Balenciaga of yesteryear.
This fall, the past meets present with two iconic street-style stars making a case for the Rodeo—and we can’t get enough.
Double Trouble
Arguably one of the first influencers long before influencers were even a thing, Lindsay Lohan was a Balenciaga It-girl in the mid-2000s. She was often snapped by paparazzi running around LA with one of her many city bags in tow, so it’s not surprising to see her gravitating towards the new Rodeo bag.
Meanwhile, Hailey Bieber was just creeping into the first decade of her life, completely unaware that her level of stardom and public interest would one day mimic Lohans. Like LL’s influence back then, anything Hailey Bieber wears is an instant must-have.
And Alas, here we are in 2024 with the two icons spotted carrying different versions of the Rodeo and making a case for the new kid on the block. Lohan paired a long floral dress with a mini version of the bag, showcasing its duality. The relaxed bag can still feel elevated with a chic, more ladylike look.
Meanwhile, Hailey Bieber opted for and showed off an embossed croc version of the Rodeo, paired with loafers, jeans, and a leather bomber. A classic Hailey Bieber look, if you will. Casual yet incredibly cool.

Ick
Well, if they think it’s a hit, said no one ever.
I don’t understand this Rodeo bag, and I think I’d never do.
