Every Celebrity Man, Woman, & Child is Carrying Hermès This Week

I’m only exaggerating a little. There are technically no children in this celeb roundup (wherefore art thou, Kiernan Shipka?), but Hermès is the undisputed favorite this week. Everyone who wasn’t at the Met Ball was apparently on their way home from Morocco following David Beckham’s lavish, three-day 40th birthday celebration last week. I actually turned 30 yesterday, but it did not involve four out of five Spice Girls, Marrakech, or my own trending hashtag on Twitter. I’ve already come to terms with all that.

I have to give serious kudos to the pap who IDed designer Carolina Herrera as she was shopping on Madison Avenue. Well done, sir or madam. We hardly ever see celebs carrying the Picotin, but it seems like a perfectly nice little Hermès bag. Maybe its small size works against it?

Here’s EJ Johnson (Magic Johnson’s son and a Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star) leaving Barneys in Beverly Hills with a nice, sunny yellow Birkin. “Men with Birkins” isn’t a new phenonemon, but the Birkin is still one of the only handbags that male fashion fans like EJ regularly break the handbag taboo for.
