Welp, it finally happened… again. Chanel’s price increase took flight this week. And though it was a little less extreme compared to last year’s (many of the classics were raised around $200 instead of $300), it still hurts – especially if you were debating purchasing your first flap bag.

Right now, I’m eyeing the new Balenciaga (available for pre-order). Honestly, I’m pretty surprised it’s priced the way it is. I would have expected it to hit the low $2,000s. Otherwise, the Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, and Hayward are all great options.
