The Bally Viva Pairs Heritage Accents With a Modern Update

Offered in three sizes and a couple colors, this is a great bag for your fall wardrobe

We recently covered a couple Bally bags and I became quite fond of those compact daily carries and found myself checking the brand’s page to discover more. I landed on this cornerstone bag line for the brand, and everything about it speaks to my fall loving heart. I know I live in a subtropical climate and fall-feeling days are few and far between, but classic bags (in black and a gorgeous hue of burgundy) work no matter where you live. It just so happens to be a cherry on top that I can picture this bag being the standout against any fall outfit.

Introducing the Bally Viva Bag. This bag feels like a long-standing strong heritage piece, but one that hasn’t oversaturated the bag market. In fact, the hardware detailing and style of the bag is reimagined from an archival design. Many brands are drawing inspiration from past archives right now, and Bally is no different. The 1851 hardware detail sits atop the bag and the quilted leather offers an eye-catching design.

Accessing the interior of the bag is simple with a magnetic closure. On the inside you’ll find a zipped pocket and a flat pocket. Overall dimensions are 11.4 W x 7.7 H x 4.3 D. The interior features Bally logo canvas (of which I am a huge fan). The gold hardware against the grained cow skin pairs delightfully well and gives this bag a very elevated final aesthetic.

There’s a few sizes of this bag, including medium, small, and a camera bag. The prices are $1,495, $1,250 and $850. Each size features the iconic hardware and quilted leather and there are different color options as well.

The other bags you shared were nice but too simple for me but I love these!

My mom gave me a Bally quilted shoulder bag, originally purchased in the late 80s or early 90s. The quilting still looks great and aside from a tiny bit of corner wear, the bag is in great condition despite me using it on several international trips and many drunken nights out. Style is timeless and looks like I could’ve bought it yesterday. Great stuff!
