It’s no secret that we spend a lot of our time scrolling through Instagram. Our feeds are filled with endless sources of bagspiration and for us, a little bit of scrolling very often breeds a new bag crush. A few years ago, I nearly combusted while waiting to get my hands on Mansur Gavriel’s famous bucket bag. Since my-love-at-first-sight introduction to the brand’s cult style, Mansur Gavriel has debuted lots of new designs, all of which have found tons of admirers.

When MG first released the Lady Bag in 2015, I thought it was super cute and functional, but it wasn’t quite yet on my personal list of must-have bags. That is, until one day last month, when I was scrolling through Instagram and there she was: The Lady Bag, in the hands of Gigi Hadid. Suddenly, I needed that beautiful baby as if my life depended on it.

What’s most intriguing about Mansur Gavriel’s vision is how its bags ooze a chic sense of elevated minimalism. The designs are clean and crisp, but interesting and fashionable at the same time. It’s no surprise that this vision has since carried over into the brand’s cult cool-girl following. If you’re also looking for a little bag inspo, check out our roundup for some beautiful shots of the ladies of Mansur Gavriel and their Lady Bags.

You can shop a variety of Mansur Gavriel Lady Bags in both the regular and mini size at Net-a-Porter, starting at $750 and ranging up to $1,195.

This bag is cute but doesn’t look very functional to me. Not a big fan of bags that take two hands to open. When it’s handheld it has a long strap that dangles and distracts.

These pics may inspire me to pull mine out of the closet and maybe like it more…
Not one of my best bag decisions but I DO get compliments every time I carry it.
Hate the material and it is a hassle to open and close
