No matter what purse I’m wearing, I’m rarely without my gray Fendi key pouch. It’s a little larger than the size of an average credit card, allowing it to comfortably hold my ID, a couple credit cards, and some spare cash. It also features a silver keychain, where I hang my house and car keys. If that’s not convenience, I don’t know what is.
Sometimes, I ditch my purse of the day entirely and leave my house with my phone in one hand and key pouch in the other. (Shhh… don’t tell my purses that.)
Though most designers and brands make their own version of a key pouch, they’re all pretty much the same. Some might say they’re pricey ($200 to $400 on average) – considering their only functions are to hold keys and cards – but I think the cost is totally justified.
Here’s why: If you’re off to the gym or a quick errand, you may not want to lug around your purse, especially an expensive one. Plus, no matter what purse you’re wearing or how often you rotate through your collection, you’ll never be without your most important items (keys, ID, and credit cards) because they’ll always be safely stashed away inside your key pouch. Plus, there’s no such thing as too many SLGs (small leather goods), right?
Do you have a trusted key pouch? If so, which one? And, if not, would you consider buying one?

Everyone has a vice. No need to be so high and mighty over the people who like this.
And yet here you are on this site.
..
Well, not all of us want the same things. This is a forum for those who appreciate nice bags and quality items. Yes, we’re willing to spend money on bags and SLG because that’s what we like. You are free to spend your money on what ever you wish. Just please be aware where you are right now, making a fuss.
When I was in college, I just carried my student ID and phone around my pocket. If I left campus, I’d throw in my small wallet. Ah, the days before my purse addiction, haha!
I love the convenience of a wristlet that holds my phone, key fob, and a few credit cards. I would love a post on the best luxury options out there!
I have a lovely patent cherry red LV key/card holder that I adore! It’s great for running errands, plus I never lose my keys.
I have this same one!! I keep my id in the back slit and CCs inside.
I have a Thirty One Gifts ID holder. I thought mine was expensive at $30. Lol. It’s came in pretty handy though, so I’d say $30 well spent.
Nope these are WAY too small. It just has to fit my zippy wallet and phone at least. Then room for a lipstick. But no I’m not taking my ID and credit cards here and there, they get lost that way. I think I may die still using my LV Pochette Accessoires. lol
Maybe next time include some budget friendly items. Less than $100-150.
I’m always confused when people want the purse blog to focus on cheaper products. Its a luxury purse blog. Luxury and cheap are not the same.
I’d be lost without my key pouches. On a normal day I carry a bag but when I’m going out for a few minutes – what’s the point?
I carried my keys and bus card in a Lancel key pouch for a few years. I could also fit a few cards and cash in it so it served me well when I needed just the bare necessities (lunch runs, quick stop to the store etc) or I used a tiny bag. I now have a LV 6 ring key holder and do the same with it, I just can’t put any cash in it. When I travel I usually take LV Empreinte clés with only my house key, the important cards and cash.
I wish I could use these, but I need to at least have something that holds my water bottle. I will 100% lose it if it’s not IN a bag. One day tho….
I want to see your Fendi.
