We have a category for accessories that rarely gets used on PurseBlog. Apologies for neglecting a perfectly fitting category for our website. Today, that will change as I will bring you an accessory to discuss and make sure to continue bringing you designer accessories in the future.
The entire PurseBlog team has Mac Book Pro laptops that we do not allow to leave our sides. They are banged up, used, and used some more but I cannot say that they are mistreated. They simply are well-loved. I have the typical laptop case from Incase (Vlad and I both do). It is simple and rather boring, but gets the job done. I want something with more character and pizazz which is why the Fendi Neoprene Laptop Case caught my eye.
Here is the deal: if you like Fendi and you love the color pink, then you will like this case. Also, forgot to add, you must have a 13″ laptop. Vlad has a 17 inch, I have a 15 inch, Shannon has a 15 inch, and Amanda has a…..? Maybe hers is 13″ and it will work with this case. Otherwise, this case is for smaller laptops. I need a sizable laptop for as much use I get with it and a 13″ screen simply will not get the job done.
After the size, there is the color and embossed Fendi logo debacle. Like I mentioned above, if you love the Fendi logo and you love hot pink, this case is all kinds of perfect. If you do not, there is not much else to say about this case. Really, what else can you say about a laptop case? I am unsure of how protective of your laptop it will be if you are to drop it with this designer case. For the price, I would surely hope it was as protective, if not more, than the typical cases many of us buy. Buy via Net A Porter for $430.

I have a mini-book that I have to take to the courthouse with me and it would fit perfectly and I love the color Pink but I DO NOT love the price. These protective slip cases are all the same, just paying for the name. (fb)

I love the hot pink! The logo isn’t too noticeable, so I wouldn’t feel like I was paying to advertise for Fendi. However, that case costs more than the netbook it would hold. No, thanks.

Megs you need to check the Mulberry line for Apple!! Its amazing! More bright pink items there with this one being my favourite http://www.mulberry.com/#/storefront/c5658/4225/category/ unfortunately still for 13″. They have more items though which are not currently displayed on the site

I think its a cute case, bright, stands out but I really don’t see shelling out that much for a laptop case. I also don’t care for logo overload so if you are sporting a logo bag or other accessory, it can be too much, although on this particular one, it is the color that stands out more so than the Fendi logo.

I like it however it is expensive and IMO if there aren’t straps, how can it be used as a laptop case? I’d rather not have to hold it like a clutch and be able to sling it over my shoulder.

i like that it’s pink, but that’s it! $430 for a sleeve is hard to justify, especially w/ how much i change laptops. i have a 15″ Mac Book Pro for work and a 13″ Dell XPS m1330 as my personal. will there be a good 13″ laptop out there when i’m ready to upgrade? hard to say. i would be bummed if there wasn’t and then i was stuck w/ this pricey sleeve. i’ll pass and find another pink option if i want one! I like designer accessories as much as the next girl…but no way, no how on this little piece.
The price is OTT. It’s out of control. It’s nearly the price of a non-Mac laptop! However, Fendi is a brand where the true “lovers” may say “I can afford it, why not?!”
The color is a little polarizing. It’s bright, bold…and it’s very in your face. Personally, as someone who carries her laptop all over the universe and even to some places I’m not 100% sure are safe, I wouldn’t want something that bold drawing attention to the prize inside.
I’m going to pass…but Fendi isn’t the first, nor the last, who will cross into this territory. Now, a robins egg blue leather case would be nice….
