I’m not sure why, but I find Céline‘s small leather goods sort of…soothing. In the same way that I find walking into Muji soothing: everything looks so neat, simple and functional. I believe it could all improve my life, if only I were to own it. Maybe then I, too, would be a neat, simple, functional person. Or maybe not–maybe I would just have a really fancy wallet. But that might be enough for the moment.

Is it just me or does some of the stamping look crooked in these photos? The Celine Strap Multifunction looks nice but when “Made in Italy” is printed on the front in what looks like a different font – it just looks random and tacky… like they didn’t know where to put it.
Good point, why would they put it outside anyway?! I remember Gucci did the same thing. Does it mean that the rest of the bags are outsourced?! Very confusing for a customer.
I like the folded cardholder. Reminds me of a man’s wallet.
