20 Bags to Get You Started on Fall 2017’s Biggest Accessories Trend: Bright Red Bags

Now's the time to add a bright spot to your future cold weather wardrobe

Of all the bag trends that happen in a given season, color trends are the hardest to spot. The global luxury accessories market is so vast that virtually no major shade is without significant representation in a given season, so in order for a particular color to stand out as being especially popular, it has to be everywhere. And for Fall 2017, red bags are indeed waiting around every corner.

Red comes up every few years, and it’s always one of my favorite color trends. Like certain shades of orange, it tends to read as an unlikely neutral when incorporated into outfits, which means it can provide a pop of color during work or play without looking inappropriate in most settings. Below, we’ve included 20 of our favorite new red bags, starting around $400.
