Nicolas Ghesquiere’s bags at Louis Vuitton keep getting better with every collection, and if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on something you saw on the runway for Fall 2015, your time has come.
A number of the brand’s new bags are available for your perusal (and some for your purchase) on the brand’s website, and the highlights include a new embellished leather called Epi Azteque. It’s exactly what it sounds like: the brand’s famous Epi leather, dotted with motifs that recall the imagery of indigenous Central American cultures.

Is it just me or are their prices totally out of control? Who are they selling to that would pay this much for trendy bags? Maybe I am just too old for this at this point…I am happy with my Chloe bag which was $1400…
I completely agree… Their prices are WAY out of control. It’s simply ridiculous. Chanel & Hermes will always be in a league of their own. LV should stick with competing on a level of Givenchy, Chloe, YSL, etc.
I looked at some Chloe bags not long ago…very nice, but they were so heavy! As in, they weighed so much! Can’t see carrying that around all day!

if you ask most people the three designer powerhouses are Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Chanel and since Louis Vuitton offer some of the most affordable options out of the three i think this is their idea of keeping up with hermes or chanel. for me the prices don’t reflect the design, id rather pay big bucks for a classic piece and less for a sessional piece that may look dated 6 month later.
Hermes is for the insanely rich…or just the insane. Seriously, who spends $25,000 to 100,000 or more for a handbag?

These seem like one-season wonders. An attempt to “re-Murakami” this line?? … although I’m liking the Malletage in burgundy.
Think I’ll save the big bucks for Chanel and Hermes 🙂

for sure the artisan work is outstanding but the prices are very high compared to the looks
Loved the go 14 metal pm bag the second I saw it on the runway, but at that price is insane! It will be one I admire from afar as I can’t possibly justify that much money on one bag.
I liked silde 6. This collection just looks all over the place. It’s a bit chaotic and unfocused.
Louis Vuitton is very cute to think I’d drop 5k on a mini bag from them. The over-exposure of the NF and speedy, as well as the many other canvas options, has cheapened the brand for me. I won’t spend more than 3k on any LV bag and it better be full size epileather.

The lock on the last Petite Malle looks like an upside down skull with a huge wig and they’re expecting almost $9000 for it?

I can see from the comments that LV is alienating many of its fans with their exorbitant prices. If I were to drop $3k+ on a handbag, I would rather go for a Chanel, because at my budget I can afford only one every several years. And I would most certainly go for a timeless classic, not the frivolously trendy designs.

Most people who buy these bags don’t give a crap if the bag goes out of style after one season: they give it away to their maid.

I agree but there are a few slides that aren’t too way out there, such as 1 and 2. Beautiful rich leather and a classic silhouette . Sadly, out of my price range.
Out of most people’s price range who care to eat, pay their bills and send their kids to college. I think it’s only a fool who’d pay that kind of money…there are tons of sites that sell gently used classic handbags…or not so classic…for a fraction of what they cost new/retail.

What is going on with this year’s LV bags? The designs are terrible! That Alma is like someone’s Lego on Epi leather and they call is the Azteque design? Nothing Azteque like to me. A couple of stick on metal pieces on a Monogram Triangle just wouldn’t do it. And they want $4K for it? Nicolas Ghesquiere, I think you need to try harder next season. Bring in something more practical and easy to wear. The Capucines and the Soft Lockits are much better than these.
Too exxy for what I am willing to pay but I do like most of them. Not a huge LV fan and yet to own one so that says a lot.

Leopard, Sheepskin?? I mean really? These luxury designers need to stay away from exotic animal skins. Were in the 21st Century. 2015 and we still have to rely heavily on skins of animals to boost your product image? Leave these poor animals alone ALREADY.

Are you kidding me?? There is no bag in the world worth this much money…..and I sell handbags! Okay, there are some GORGEOUS bags out there and some are mentioned here…Chloe, Chanel, Hermes, but all of them have TOTALLY outrageous prices….personally, I will stick with my stunning Anuschka hand-painted genuine leather that I paid $600 for and have loved everyday since I bought it….and it also has incredible durability….and doesn’t scratch the second you set it down on something….no way would I pay this money for ANY of these bags….especially the UGLY Louis Vuitton Box Clutches….who would want to carry that thing around without a strap?? Try again LV….and next time charge $100,000 for it!! Insulting!
I can’t find one appealing quality with any of these bags. Obscenely overpriced and impractical for daily use. Love all my LV’s, but these are just bad….. I’ll stick with my old faithfuls.
What is so bizarre is that the purses don’t look that great and why would anyone in their right mind spend that much on these fall bags? I’d rather take a trip to Paris, France and save my hard earned cash! People buy anything just for status and attention. Just my opinion!
