When the Givenchy Nightingale got a smooth redesign for Pre-Fall 2015, I was hooked. I love a good satchel with an optional shoulder strap and just the right amount of slouch, and this bag brings both of those elements together nicely.
I’m perpetually drawn to grey bags, and this one is no different. While I want to look good, I’m one of those people who also really wants to be comfortable, and I focus on finding outfits that complement me aesthetically but also are comfy to wear. I came up with two outfit ideas for the Givenchy Nightingale: the first is a laid-back weekend look that features separates that will work well with other wardrobe pieces, and the second is a classic jeans ensemble. I like the quality of the pebbled leather of this bag and the optional shoulder strap. I’m usually a fan of black or saddle colored bags, but this one definitely makes me want to consider grey. The price is not that outrageous either.

I have not been able to stop looking at this bag since this post. I’m not a fan of gray bags, but this one is just gorgeous. I too love the pebbled leather and it looks very classy in the grey, and I agree with you all, it’s very versatile. I’m eyeing now as an early holiday gift for myself.
