kate spade new york is always one of the most colorful and fun presentations during New York Fashion Week. Each season we are taken away into the world of kate spade daydreams and day trips for the kate spade spring 2016 collection.
The kate spade brand is so strong that each and every show you come to know what to expect while still finding new whimsical pieces. Matched florals, ribbon stripes, and light lace adorned the spunky looks. The colors were inspired by spring fun activities including carousel pink, alice blue, sunshine yellow, boardwalk beige all set against New York City black and white.
As for the bags, if you love kate spade novelty bags, you’re in for a real treat. Going along with the color and theme, you can find a carousel, bee, dog, honey pot, admission ticket and more finishing off the looks. The other leather goods were quite lovely, polished leather satchels that were just the right size were scattered throughout. One aspect of kate spade bags that I love most is the ability to find something completely quirky while also offering classic pieces.
kate spade decided to make florals the other focal point of the show. There were more than 30,000 flowers from FTD.com at the presentation which were then given to guests afterward in custom bouquets (and then a truck gave them out to people around the city after).
