the SA told me she was receiving the grey python with silver hardware. It was on delivery when she send a photo to a client who then requested to have it reserve and bought it right away when it arrived. the more expensive and limited the styles, the more people are hungry for it. this is very annoying.
Love the contrast flap (#7) and messenger bags! Compared with the denim, these prices are almost reasonable 🙂

i dunno, some of y’all must not be looking at the same bags i am (or maybe you’ve got your chanel goggles on) bc at least half of these bags were SUPER ugly. all the denim bags were horrifying. and a bag made of jersey fabric is not worth 3K even if it were handmade by God herself.

Seriously! These bags are just meant for women who either have too much money and too little brains to figure out what do with it OR for those too have too little self esteem unless clutching a luxury bag for self worth. The bags are super ugly and not creative by any stretch of the mind.
I think you’re in the wrong place. Plenty of lovely women with brilliant minds and healthy self esteem who enjoy luxury bags.

I think you are barking up the wrong tree! I own and lust luxury bags myself and do not feel the love for something classic and gorgeous pathetic. It’s the concept of feeling a compulsion to purchase pieces from every new season despite the lack of aesthetic and personal taste just because it’s making a statement that I CAN that I find pathetic.
in my experience, i find people who pass judgement are usually green with envy and can’t afford such things. seriously katrina, if you dislike this bags, why did you find the need to look through the entire post of 40 bags, and then post you verdict? are you that special that you think people actually care about your opinion?

If money was no object, I would go for #25 and #39.
Chanel bags are ugly. Chanel has no innovation, just makes the same old ugly looking quilted bags, ugh. No innovation at all. People buy these because they are “Chanel”. No new designs, nothing. I don’t understand why these Chanel bags are so pricey and “in-style”. Where is the innovation?

I do not deserve to be here with you guys. Because whenever the time comes for me to buy my first Chanel I always baulk and end up spending the money on something else. I love quite a few of these pieces, especially the stingray boy bags and the evening clutches. Maybe this time I’ll take the plunge…
The only bag that remotely caught my eye was the camera bag in slide 17. The denim bags are ugly, and I’m not really a fan of the Boy. If I want a Reissue, I’ll probably just go the pre-owned route.
In all honesty, when I went to the Chanel boutique last week, the only thing that I was interested in were the tweed sneakers. They were $1350. So not happening.
You always think that Chanel is not worth the prices and if you already own one you do not need another. But I am still sighing everytime I fish out something out of my Chanel Purses. They are so beautiful in terms of construction and one of the houses that can lay claim that their bags do not fall off a truck wagon. Even the jersey ones are lined in calfskin, I do not own one in jersey but having decided to purchase one before, its not the same as a high market buy from Primark for example. It is sturdy and solidly built. Of course there are bags that don’t catch your fancy but then strongly advise for you not go there.

The lesson I have learned about Chanel is that you can always get your money back or more, this stuff holds it’s value.. I made the mistake of not buying the Lion chain necklace 4 years ago and have regretted it ever since.. I could have doubled my money
I like the python and stingray small boy bags. I tried these on and they’re really nice. However, the prices are absolutely ridiculous.
