There's been a lot of discourse about Stella McCartney's no-leather stance on the site in the past (especially from Amanda). While $1,195 seems like a lot for a bag that isn't made of buttery Italian leather, I for one am glad to see a designer take an ethical stand, especially as more exotic bag materials, like python, are sourced by designers in ways that I find more than a little shady. But what say you, PB readers - does a questionably harvested python skin bag that retails for more than 10K bother you more than a PVC bag that retails for over a grand?
