We’ve Already Spotted Pre-Fall 2016 Bag Pre-Orders from Valentino, Alexander Wang and More

On the first slightly warm day of spring, you always see a woman in a white linen dress or a guy in shorts and flip-flops who clearly had been dreaming about wearing those things since December. Season-pushers: they walk among us. Now that spring bags have finally made their ways into stores, we’ve been waiting for the first handbag season-pushers to emerge, and this week, we were rewarded with pre-fall and fall pre-orders from a handful of brands at Neiman Marcus.

The most notable pieces were new Rockstud motifs from Valentino’s Pre-Fall 2016 collection and the brand new designs from Alexander Wang’s Pre-Fall 2016 lookbook, the most talked-about of which has been dubbed the Attica Bag. (Yes, like the New York prison.) Check out a selection of our favorites below or shop all new arrivals via Neiman Marcus.

solid piece from Christian Louboutin. Strong and clear cut.

#1 is so boring and reminds me of the Garden tote.

I love the D&G patterns but can anyone advise on the bag quality? Good leather? Construction?

The valetino animalia bag is awesome. Just enough to make it unique but not tacky.

The Valentino tie dye bag looks very Forever XXI

Agree on the Wang. Also love the simplicity of the Tom Ford bag.

Is that hobo for real? It looks like a potato bag!

Passerine

LOL, I thought it looked like a bib! Not a very appealing collection overall.

Chelsea Girl

Love the Lanvin Jiji, very vintage even though vintage is not my style, I would totally rock it

Dwightinha

None that I would invest in, didn’t grab my heart.
