It’s Tuesday Shoesday people and today I’ bringing you one of my favorite trends for spring/summer: the flatform. The flatform starting resurfacing last spring and it’s steadily gained moment. It may have just reached its peak this season, because flatform sneakers, espadrilles and sandals are popping up everywhere. I’ve already indulged in this trend when I got my dream sneakers (they gave me serious Baby Spice vibes and I couldn’t say no!), but I’m super into this trend and I wouldn’t mind tapping into a bit more. I love that this trend can be worn a few different ways, and though I do not need any additional height I’m still here for it. Next up I’d like to grab a pair of espadrilles or sandals and below I’ve rounded up 10 of the best pairs to help you dabble in this trend too!
Tuesday Shoesday: Flatforms Are Trending and We’ve Got 10 of the Best
Like it or not this old trend is back big time for Spring 2019
The ones from Nike look nice. Although I am being a biased because I’m a huge Nike fan.
I really love this trend and I think you stated it perfectly—baby spice vibes! Those Nike’s have been on my wishlist! So pretty.
Haven’t flatforms been trending for 6-8 years?
Got a pair of platform white canvas Tretorns a couple of weeks ago. Love them.
Boy, this takes me be back to 1997!
They look like you’d get blisters in 15 minutes. Feedback from people who wear them?
I bought a pair of flatform sandles and somehow keep rolling my ankle on them. Comfort is great s is the entertainment value but I am lacking the grace to make these work.
I don’t think it’s down to a graceful gait (I’m sure you walk well!) The shoe upper on several of these look too light and flimsy to carry the sole. Makes sense you’d roll your ankle. Ouch!

I have a couple of pairs. These are very comfortable. The Nike I will stick to my regular AirForce1’s.
Nike has a whole collection from those pictured here to the Air Force 1 sage platforms in about 10 colors. I was in Spain 3 years ago and this was a trend then. I’m not sure anyone actually let go of platforms.
I like platform shoes!
I recently bought the Converse Chuck Taylor platforms in “particle beige” canvas. I really like them, but they need an insole because they’re not terribly comfortable. They really take me back to my childhood in the 1990s.
