I love this article! I am not a fan of black handbags and only have two. I find them boring, and I think that the color black is a harsh color. The rest of my bags are colored. I don’t try to match them with an outfit. I just choose a bag that will work for my day/event.
The Prada and the Gucci are my favorite.
I also love a color instead of black. I find it’s easier to wear a fun color with anything than wearing black with everything.
Me too. I only have 1 black bag a chanel vintage flap. I used to have 3 but i sold 2 to add to my birkin fund. They were just small vintage canvas bags (ferragamo and givenchy). I barely reach for them so i decided to let them go. I dont have any white bags and only 1 brown bag (balenciaga giant city) and 1 beige bag (longchamp le pliage). Neutral colored bags dont give me so much joy i only have them when im wearing a bold print dress and i need to neutral colored bag so that it wont clash with my outfit. I have plenty of pink bags because its my fave color. And i also try to have 1 bag from each color of the rainbow. Currently searching for a purple bag (maybe a chanel woc?) and a green bag (hoping for an hermes garden party or picotin in malachite)-missing colors in my closet.
I’m trying to find a yellow and a red for my rainbow. Possibly the new Fendi Croissant in yellow?? I love that malachite Hermès color.
Indeed, these nearly all of these bags will show up cheerfully against an all black outfit.
These are beautiful, fun colors! It’s hard to chose just one! (I look forward to warmer weather after receiving 27” of snow in Colorado over a 24 hour period)! Come on, Spring!!!
The BV pouch and intrecciato bag look lovely. The Coach bag I find very attractive as well. Gucci and Balenciaga: both colorful classics. The rest is a pass for me.
I just got my new mini jodie bag in ice cream and it’s the perfect milky pale yellow that I feel is going to be perfect for spring/summer! I also have the mini jodie in grass green (above) but I think pale colors are going to be bigger than the shockingly bright ones… plus much easier to incorporate into your outfits.

Nope I never have. It belonged to my aunt but she didn’t want it anymore
It is authentic, I also have red and wanted to make a photo for you but can’t find it, not nylon but canvas. This light blue is Prada and the other two are Miu Miu, at least 15 years old if not more. Recycling the old successful styles, love it. I love the orange in leather but it is a very practical bag in design and is better suited to nylon, I expect leather to be rigid and not hold as much.
I love colorful bags, I design them allways as well as the blacks and the grays. I think colorful bags will make you look special.

Absolutely LOVE all the colors! I am sure a lot of women & men with darker skin-tones would look absolutely amazing with most of these pieces. Thankfully my undertone colors of my white ass skin makes a lot of these colors look great on me as well. Finally we have gone from the pastels to the full bright highlighter marker colors again! Welcome back 90’s neon color palette, we have missed you so! Perfect for summer.
