Is it just me or is Valentine’s Day one of those holidays that just sort of creeps up on everyone? I’m not sure if this has always been the case for me, but since moving to NYC I find myself in stores less and less. Thus, seasonal items such as holiday decor and candy aren’t thrust into my face upon entering a retail establishment. Not to mention, it seems that year after year I find myself Valentine-less—at least in the traditional sense of the word. While I’m sure it’s nice to look forward to a sweet gift from the one you love, I’ve always cherished the smaller things I’ve received on this holiday like lounge sets from my mom and cards from my GALentines.
This year, I’m looking forward to spending Valentine’s day with a couple of my best gal pals. While getting older means that my list of single friends is dwindling I still look forward to spending this so called Hallmark holiday with my best babes. Some may say that Valentine’s Day is really just another day, and while yes, I’ll still wake up with work to do and places to go, I do appreciate the meaning behind Valentine’s Day. It’s a complicated and sometimes not-so-easy world we live in, so why not take an extra day to appreciate the ones you adore, whether it be a partner, family or friends. I totally agree with you nnk… this is below standards. I appreciate the pictures of bags… as everyone else here, I’m a fan of bags! But the content of the post reads like a teenager’s diary. 🙁
I’m not sure PB readers always want to be reading articles about what bag the writer wants next, & other such ramblings that do read more like a personal diary, than an objective piece on handbags. The writer could try to write pieces less about herself, without compromising her adorable personality! Writing is a journey, that most of us readers generously support & encourage. I like their camera bags too. I like the reissue style camera bag.y male logic tells me to go for the bag that’ll hold value more and out of all three, the LD, Mini Classic Flap and the Camera bag, it’d be the classic flap. Now the question is am I careful enough to own it in Lambskin or am I gonna have to go for caviar. Or rather can I control my surroundings enough to keep the Lambskin safe lol
Ok so this was ADORABLE. I haven’t been a fan of any of the LV New Wave bags so far, but I really like that light pink one with the embellished charms. It looks like just the right amount of delicate femininity. Also obsessed with the Bottega Veneta bag. Such a gorgeous nude-pink. I need a lipstick that color…
The BV is BEAUTIFUL in person. So soft and I think it could work dressed up or down. I loved it beside my jeans.
